Senbus Industries (« Senbus») is a Senegal-based company created in 2001 and focused on automotive assembly (minibuses, buses, trucks, tractors, etc.).

The company operates the sole automotive assembly plant in Senegal, in partnership with Tata Industries of India and Xiamen King Long of China with the objective of providing a competitive replacement option for the thousands of aging buses commonly used for public transportation. The company’s plant has an assembly capacity of up to 3,000 buses per year and is poised to benefit from an expanding market throughout the UEMOA region.

AFIG Funds, on behalf of its maiden fund ACRF, invested in Senbus in 2012.
